Design Just-in-Time

Design Just-in-Time é o processo de aguardar até que você saiba qual deve ser o design (solução) e, em seguida, refatorar o código-fonte para atender a essas novas necessidades antes de adicionar a funcionalidade que está forçando a alteração do design.
